Suwanee Town Center

This award winning Town Center Park for the City of Suwanee was designed by jB+a to develop a community-based urban space. The 10 acre park is the heart of the new town including a new City Hall, office, retail, and residential developments. This passive open space includes a signature amphitheater, interactive fountain, multi-use trails and great open lawns for families to play and the community to enjoy. view project

Courthouse Plaza, Dallas

Commissioned by Dallas, Georgia, jB+a revitalized their historic downtown. A new City Plaza is located at the base of the Historic Courthouse, replacing an existing parking lot and becoming the centerpiece for office and retail facilities. The plaza provides greenspace for passive gathering, with outdoor seating for local retail and restaurants. Combining Georgia DOT
and City funds, the end result is an innovative site design solution. view project

Douglasville O’Neal Plaza

From initial concept designs, through public participation meetings, into final construction documents, jB+a redesigned O’Neal City Plaza. These intimate urban spaces function well for casual visitors to large civic events. Planning also included connectivity with historic downtown streetscape enhancements. Funding was provided by the City of Douglasville, Georgia DOT (Transportation Enhancement Funds) and the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Livable Centers Initiative
(LCI) Funds. view project

Lilburn City Hall Park

jB+a, working with the City of Lilburn, designed the City Hall Park that created a popular community gathering place. A covered stage, with sound system, becomes the focus for outdoor civic activities. Festival vendor booths fill the large open lawn during events. Pervious surface walking trails wind through the park passing open fields, children playgrounds, picnic pavilions, grilling stations, and tennis courts. view project

Jamestown City Park

Nestled in the neighborhoods of the City of College Park, Jamestown Park provides the community a public space to relax and enjoy family and friends. jB+a provided design documents and construction observation for the renovation of Jamestown Park. Site improvements included 8’ wide tumbled paver walking paths, the installation of several pavilion structures, grills, benches, lighting and an upgrades to the existing playground and landscape. view project
